Larry Medford is a founding director of Houston Trust Company. He is Secretary and Treasurer of The Elkins Foundation. Formerly, Mr. Medford was executive vice president and CFO of First City Bancorporation of Texas, Inc. He is a past director and CFO for the Galveston—Houston Company and executive vice president and CFO for San Jacinto Savings Association.

Mr. Medford serves on the board of First United Methodist Church and has previously served on the Board of Trustees for First United Methodist Foundation.

Mr. Medford graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BS in Business Administration and later graduated from the School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and honorary lifetime member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
