Mark Herrin joined Houston Trust Company in 2015.  As Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, he is responsible for personal trust administration, estate administration, client service and special asset support.  Mark previously worked for 15 years for Salient Trust Company, where he fulfilled a variety of trust-related roles and served both as a member of the Board of Managers and as its Secretary.  Prior to that, he practiced law in the areas of probate and estate administration and in civil litigation.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Finance Applications, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is also a member of the Houston Estate and Financial Forum.
