Mara Polk joined Houston Trust Company in 2025.  As Senior Vice President of Trust Administration, she is responsible for trust administration, client services, and special asset support. Before joining Houston Trust Company, Mara held various senior leadership roles within single-family offices and licensed private trust companies responsible for controlling the complex assets of multigenerational, high-net-worth families. Mara began her career practicing law in the areas of probate, guardianship, and estate administration.

Mara holds a Bachelor of Print Journalism and a Bachelor of Gender Studies from the University of Southern California and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is also a member of the Houston Estate and Financial Forum.
