Jim D’Agostino serves as chairman of the board of Houston Trust Company. Mr. D’Agostino is the managing director of Encore Interests, LLC in Houston, Texas. He was formerly chairman, president and CEO of Encore Bancshares, Inc. and president and vice chairman of American General Corporation.

Mr. D’Agostino is the lead independent director of Origin Bancorp, Inc. and is chairman of Main Street Ministries, Houston. He previously served as a director of Basic Energy Services, Inc.

Mr. D’Agostino holds a BS in Economics from Villanova University and a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
