Fred Robertson joined the Investment Advisory Committee of Houston Trust Company in 2018. As an independent member of this committee, he helps oversee the investment strategies for the Company and its clients.

Mr. Robertson joined Criterion Investment Management in Houston in 1978 to help develop institutional fixed income management. From then through 2002 he served in various roles including Senior Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer and President.

Mr. Robertson graduated from Cornell University and has an MBA from the College of William and Mary.

He serves, or has served, on the boards or investment committees of Allegiance Bank, Houston Firefighters Relief and Retirement Fund, Presbyterian School, River Oaks Baptist School, St. John’s School, Texas Presbyterian Foundation, and The Greater Houston Community Foundation.
