Frances R. Marshall
Frances Marshall serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Fiduciary Officer of Houston Trust Company. She joined the Company in 2021 and has more than 20 years of fiduciary experience.
As Chief Fiduciary Officer, Frances is the executive responsible for overseeing the Company’s fiduciary responsibilities, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, establishing best and consistent fiduciary practices across the Company, mitigating fiduciary risk, and providing management, support, and training to the Company’s trust and fiduciary professionals. She also chairs the Trust Committee.
Prior to joining the Company, Frances served as Chief Fiduciary Officer at Wealthgate Trust in Las Vegas, Nevada where she oversaw all fiduciary activity as well as operations, finance, and compliance. A former practicing trusts and estates attorney, Frances has held leadership roles at U.S. Trust’s (now Bank of America Private Bank) Western Division and at Charles Schwab Trust Company in Henderson, Nevada.
Frances holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law.
