Claire Fortney joined Houston Trust Company in 2026. As Office Assistant, Claire provides support to the Office Manager, aides in client services, and manages Houston Trust Company’s front desk.

Claire graduated with honors and distinction from Sewanee: The University of the South, where she double majored in English and creative writing with a minor in business. During her undergraduate career, Claire served as Vice President of Events & Programming for Eta Epsilon chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority and was a member of the Order of the Gown, the university’s academic honor society. While studying abroad at the University of Oxford, Claire also served as student body president for her cohort.
