Carla Knobloch joined the Investment Advisory Committee of Houston Trust Company in 2014. As an independent member of this committee, she helps oversee the investment strategies for the Company and its clients.

Prior to joining The Investment Advisory Committee, Ms. Knobloch served as Chief Investment Officer of The Brown Foundation, Inc.

Previously, she was the General Partner and Founder of The Owner’s Fund, a Houston based investment partnership. She also served as an officer of First Wachovia Investment Management in Atlanta and Chemical Bank in New York.

Ms. Knobloch is a graduate of Yale College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. She is very active in the Houston community and serves on the boards or investment committees of The Brown Foundation, Inc.; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; the Houston Zoo; YES Prep; and Houston Wilderness.
